Like other radar-based systems, the GHA 15 height advisor works by transmitting radio waves downward from your aircraft. When the signal is reflected from the surface, the system determines the precise height by using the time delay it takes to receive the signals back.	The compact GHA 15 module is slightly larger than a deck of cards and weighs less than a pound (0.45 kg). The antenna and radar transceiver are built in to the unit, making for easy installation on the underside of your aircraft.	In experimental and light sport aircraft, the GHA 15 module is compatible with our G3X Touch flight displays.

These callouts are user-configurable as to how low the prompts will go.	The GHA 15 height advisor can intelligently process hundreds of altitude measurements per second and apply advanced digital filters to maintain an accurate continuous reading of your AGL altitude.	An affordable solution, the GHA 15 height advisor leverages proprietary Garmin signal processing technology to provide a smooth-tracking AGL altitude reference, even in challenging terrain environments.
